About the Journal

African Research Journal of Urology and Nephrology (AFRJUN) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published biannually by Bioscience Press. The journal is dedicated to advancing research, clinical practice, and innovation in urology, nephrology, and renal sciences. The journal provides a high-quality platform for researchers, clinicians, surgeons, nephrologists, urologists, healthcare professionals, and academicians to disseminate original scientific findings that contribute to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases affecting the urinary tract, kidneys, and male reproductive system.

The African Research Journal of Urology and Nephrology publishes high-quality Original research articles, review articles, clinical studies, case reports and Short Communications.

Journal Policy

All submissions to the African Research Journal of Biosciences are first checked for extensiveness before being sent to an Editor, who decides whether they are suitable for peer review or not. Authors must prepare their manuscripts according to the established guidelines. Failure to follow them may result in papers being rejected. All papers are subjected to double-blind peer review. When making a decision, Editors will consider the peer-reviewed reports. Peer review reports are sent to authors along with the editorial decision on their manuscript. All articles published in this journal represent the opinion of the authors and do not reflect the official policy of the African Research Journal of Urology and Nephrology.

Manuscript submission and evaluation

Manuscripts must be solely the work of the author(s) stated, must not have been previously published elsewhere, and must not be under consideration by another journal. All submissions are checked by the journal editorial team to ensure that they conform to the paper requirements outlined on the guidelines to authors page of the journal’s website, such as paper length, the standard of the English language, format of figures and tables, referencing style, etc. are considered. If the submission does not meet the journal’s criteria the submission will be dropped, and the authors asked to resubmit after addressing the issues.

All articles for this journal must be submitted using our online submission system. In case any online issues occurred, submit the paper electronically to editor@afrjun.com.
